Some of the Perks to Being Cute

Today was a busy day for me. Or, at least the morning was pretty busy. I had to go to the post office and send Brandon's "last letter", get gas in the rental car, go to the bank, and find boxes for moving. The boxes for moving were a little harder to get than I had imagined, but I succeeded in that task.
And, this is where I found a perk to being cute. I went to Macey's, thinking, "Oh, this will be an EASY place to get boxes." Boy was I wrong! I went to the produce section, to ask for any empty boxes, and they said that they didn't have any. So, I was a little disappointed and was wondering where I was going to go and get boxes. I decided that I would try a few other grocery stores.
The next one that I went to was Smith's. I walked back to the produce section, thinking I was going to have the same result as at Macey's. I went and asked the produce worker, "Do you have any empty produce boxes that I could have?" First he kind of gave me a quick "up-down" look, then all of a sudden had a HUGE smile on his face and said, "Well, we really aren't supposed to give them out, but since you're so cute, I'll give them to you." I was a little bit in shock, I had never had someone be that honest with me about my looks before. I kind of stood there for a second in shock, and then he told me where to get the boxes at.
Now, I am home, still a little bit in shock from this morning's incident at Smith's. But, I have 4 BIG produce boxes to finish my packing. Hopefully they will be enough, I think they will be. I might even have too many boxes now. But, if it's not enough, at least I know where to go to get more boxes, with my "cuteness".
