Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Me!

Who knew that getting old could be so much fun? I sure didn't!
I am now 21-years old, and it is weird, because all of a sudden, I feel so much older. I remember back in high school, thinking that all of the people who were 21 were SOOO much older than me, and that they were just so old. But now, I am one of those old 21-year olds. Really though, 21 isn't that old, I just feel like wow, I'm 21 and now I should have the rest of my life planned out. It's not even close to planned out though!
So, here's to nothing... hopefully the next 21 years bring MANY accomplishments and happiness.

My birthday was actually a lot of fun. I kind of just got to do whatever I really wanted, other than renew my drivers license. Luckily, I passed the written test, only missing 2 questions (Yay me!). Then, after I renewed my license, I went out to lunch with my aunt Dede. I love getting to see her and spend time with her. I feel like she is the only one in my family who actually sees me as a grown up, that I'm not just the 5-year old little Terri that I once was. After lunch, my aunt took me shopping, and got me a new Angels sweatshirt... way cute! On my way home, I stopped by my mom's work to say hi. Her whole class sang to me, it was really fun having a kindergarten class sing to me. Then, I went and got a pedicure. Let me tell you, I was definitely in need of one. I had not got a pedicure since JULY! It felt so good. Later, my dad, Nathan, and I went to the Angels game. It was so much fun. My dad kept getting annoyed with Nathan, and I couldn't help but laugh, because he wouldn't have been annoyed if Nathan hadn't been there, and my dad insisted that Nathan go. So, I just kept wanting to say, "I told you so." For Nathan almost being 16, he can sometimes act very immature. Oh well, he makes me laugh, and he's my brother, so I love him! All in all, it was an amazing 21st birthday. People may be surprised that I'm not heading to Vegas for the weekend, or anything like that. But, I am so excited that I am getting to spend it with the people who matter most to me.

Sounds like a fun birthday! It's crazy how as we get older the young people keep getting younger. Weird!
