YAY for Old Mission Friends!

So, I got a pretty awesome surprise this weekend! I was pretty much on cloud nine from 1:00AM, Sunday morning until pretty much now. Well, I was on my facebook, and all of a sudden, I get a message and a friend request, from this guy. And, I knew that I had seen him before, but who he was, I wasn't 100% sure, until I read the message. He was one of the guys that Brandon served with on his mission. They were never companions, but were in the same district for awhile, and lived together for awhile, AND he is from our home stake. We started talking, and he shared quite a few pictures of Brandon with me, and videos. He also told me that Brandon used to talk about me ALL the time. That anytime Brandon had his pictures out, he would start talking about me. And, that every night before bed, he would talk about me, too. It felt so good to hear that. As I'm sitting here at home, waiting for him, I sometimes wonder if he ever thinks about me or anything like that, and my question was answered. In the pictures and videos, it showed that Brandon is still the same goofball that I know and love, which is SOOOO good (I was a little worried!).
Then, about an hour after talking with that guy, I get another friend request. And, I knew that I knew this guys name. He was one of Brandon's companions! I actually sent him some stuff in Brandon's Valentine's Day package last year. This guy, had a girlfriend waiting for him on the mission, so I guess that he and Brandon got a long great because of that. It was great, we talked about all sorts of stuff, and he also told me how much Brandon talked about me on the mission, and how much he OBVIOUSLY loved me. He also shared some pictures with me, of Brandon. And, it was seriously just awesome to get to talk to him. I heard so much about him through Brandon's emails, so I was excited!
Well, anyways, I am just excited to now be friends with these guys. They both told me how great of a missionary Brandon is. And that they have both been blown away by him. They said that there is no need to worry about him not being focused on the work, because Brandon is probably one of the most focused guys down there. It's nice to have a little bit of my worries eased. And, I just wanted to share my exciting news! YAY for old mission friends!
