So, I had to wait a little while to post this. But, I'm home for Thanksgiving, and then some! Why you may ask did I have to wait to post this? I had to wait because I was surprising my family, with the exception of my mom.
I was talking to my friend Travis on Wednesday afternoon, and he told me that he was visiting up in Provo, and that he would love it if I drove back home with him. So, I told him that if I could find a way back to Provo, I would love to ride back with him. That was when I got to work. I started calling all of my friends who I knew were driving home for Thanksgiving, looking for a ride back. Then, calling both of my parents to see if they could buy me a plane ticket, and nothing was working! Finally, I got a hold of my dad, and he told me a DEFINITE no, on getting me a plane ticket. And, we ended up in this HUGE fight. I then called my mom and told her that I wouldn't be coming home, when she told me that she would buy my ticket! I was so excited!
So, now, here I am, sitting at home, enjoying the warmth! I will be here until Tuesday Dec. 2nd. I am so thankful to my mom, who actually wanted me home for Thanksgiving. I totally shocked Lauren, and Nathan swears like he wasn't surprised. I spent all day yesterday with Lauren. I seriously miss that! She is my best friend in the whole world, and being about a 10-hour ride from her is so hard. Besides Brandon, she is probably the hardest to be away from. She understands me better than anyone else, besides Brandon! I'm excited though, to be home and to have gotten to spend some time with her! I'm looking forward to Tuesday, when I get to spend more time with her!
