So, at the start of the weekend, I totally thought that it was going to suck! I mean, I had a HORRIBLE day on Friday, and it was not a very good start to a 3-day weekend. But, boy was I wrong! I think I had more fun this weekend than I've had most of the time that I've been in Provo. On Friday night, a very good friend of mine, Lindsay, came over. I needed a little bit of venting/girl time. Then, my new friends Mike and Chris came over and Mike had dinner with me. We all kinda hungout and chit-chatted for awhile. Then, went over to Chris and Mike's apt and watched "Casino Royale" on their projector screen. It was way fun. And, it was really good to hangout with some people, and get my mind off of the stress in my life. Later, I talked to my mom and my aunt on the phone, and they gave me some great advice and just let me vent to them.
Saturday, what a day! ha ha ha. OK, so we were supposed to have cleaning checks at 9am, so, I got up at 8:45 to finish cleaning up my stuff. Then, it was back to bed for me, until 12:30!!! In the afternoon, I went out to lunch with a very good friend from back home who was visiting. We went to Chili's and the 2 waiters were totally flirting with us, it was way funny. I really love getting to see friends from back home, and getting to talk to them for hours! ha ha ha. After we went out, I went and hungout with some more new friends of mine, Kristian, Spencer, and Steven. We went to Cafe Rio, played some Phase 10, and then went and watched a movie at the dollar theater.
On Sunday, we had church, then Kristian, Spencer, and Steven came over and had some lunch with Melissa and I. We then played Phase 10. It was so much fun. The game was probably the highest scoring game of Phase 10, that I've ever had, but it was so much fun! I got a REALLY bad migraine, and ended up falling asleep for 2&1/2 hours, before our Stake Fireside. After the Stake Fireside, I came home and slept! Thank goodness!
Monday, I had work! It was Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and I had work. It's not like it was strenuous work or anything, it was actually really fun! I was working my "second" job as a Transportation Agent for a company called West Shield Adolescent Services. I got to work with Parker, so it was pretty fun! After work, Melissa and I went and got a new frog! Later in the afternoon, I went up to Temple Square with Kristian, Steven, and Spencer. It was a LOT of fun! I even saw one of my friend's from high school's sister's there. She is serving her mission at the Temple Square mission. It was way cool seeing her! Mike came to FHE with me. His FHE was canceled, so he came to my group's. Then, we went back to his apt and watched a movie. OMG, so much fun! I honestly cannot believe how much fun the 3-day weekend was! I look forward to the next one, especially since it will be Valentine's Day!
